As they say, the days are long, but the years are short—and somehow there never seems to be enough time to write down everything that happens along the way.
If you’re in need of some creative catharsis, journaling time and a chance to tell your stories, join Creative Groove and Everwell for The Penning Parenthood Sessions! This three-week workshop will provide a fun and welcome space for moms at all ages and stages to capture their experience on the page.
Not a writer? No problem. Co-facilitators (and moms!) Jen Jones Donatelli and Lindsay Hurty will lead the group through a series of journaling prompts, breakout discussions and other exercises designed for creative catharsis and connection. (Learn more about Jen and Lindsay in the section below.)
Part writing lounge, part workshop, part social gathering, consider Penning Parenthood more of a gathering than a class—and the perfect opportunity to put your pen in motion and explore your experience of parenthood for posterity.
The Penning Parenthood sessions will meet on Zoom on Thursdays (April 25, May 2, and May 9) from 7:30-9 p.m. EST. The class ends right before Mother’s Day—making it the perfect gift for yourself, a mom friend, or your mom. Plus, sign up *with* another mom and get $50 off your joint registration! (Must register together to take advantage of this option.)
